About LejLet.nu

LejLet.nu is a platform that lets landlords advertise rental homes and lets tenants search for homes and get in touch with landlords. LejLet.nu is not a party to any tenancy agreement made between a tenant and a landlord via the platform, and we neither approve, guarantee, nor verify the content of listings. In the listing form, the address is chosen from the official Danish address register via Adressevælgeren, the address service run by the Danish Agency for Climate Data, but that is no guarantee that the rest of the listing is accurate.

Your account

You log in with a one-time code or a login link sent to your email — there's no password to keep track of, but that also means you're responsible for keeping access to your email account secure. You may only create one account for yourself (or your business). You can delete your account at any time under Account on your account page.

As a landlord

When you create a listing, you're responsible for ensuring that:

  • The information in the listing is accurate and up to date
  • The home actually exists and is available for rent on the stated terms
  • The listing complies with applicable Danish tenancy law, including the rules on deposits and prepaid rent
  • You have the right to rent out the home in question

We may remove listings that violate these terms, are misleading, or that multiple users report as suspicious.

As a tenant

LejLet.nu facilitates contact between you and a landlord — we're not a party to any agreement you may enter into. Be cautious if a landlord asks for payment before you've seen the home, or if something seems too good to be true. You can report a suspicious listing directly from the listing page.

Good conduct

Messages on LejLet.nu must stay related to housing. Harassment, attempted fraud, or attempts to circumvent the platform in order to deceive the other party are not allowed and may result in your account being closed.

Disclaimer

LejLet.nu is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that you'll find a home or a tenant, or that the information in listings is accurate — that's the landlord's responsibility. We are not liable for losses arising from agreements or disputes between tenants and landlords.

Termination

We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms. You can always close your own account — see the privacy policy for what happens to your data when you do.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Danish law.
